About the Poster
I was to create an image with Hebrews 12:1 as the inspiration: “Let us run with perseverance, the race that is marked out for us.” I combined asphalt, the scripture (as a type element), and a runner crossing the finish line. A subtle cross is formed in the runner’s shadow—through which we receive our medal.

Most runners raise their arms when they cross the finish line—whether first or last. Running is truly representative of our lives—the ups and downs.
